Linux bookmarks...
(See also the bookmarks on
the
aq.org home page.)
These are
mostly really ancient and there may be a lot of dead links here.
I just added a couple things in 2018, but most of the links here
are from 2004 or earlier (so 15 years old!)

An interesting Slashdot comment on how a nontechnical computer user feels about using Windows
versus Linux, and why a Mac user switched to Linux and open-source
tools. The last part (about an artist switching from Mac to
Linux) is a pretty telling argument for Open Source (although
it's really about apps rather than the OS).

Linux on mobile devices

handhelds.org has information about Linux (and other free Unix clones) on
palmtop computers, mainly (but not exclusively) the HP iPAQ.
(Some of the iPAQ software is binary-compatible with the Sharp
Zaurus, as well.) It's hosted at HP.

TuxMobil.org used to be MobiliX.org until the idiot holders of the trademark
Obélix (the cartoon character) complained. Yeah, I can
see how a trademark MobiliX having to do with computer software
could easily be confused with a cartoon character called Obélix.
Anyway, it's about Linux (and Unix) on mobile computers, mainly
laptops but also PDAs and wearables. It also addresses communicating
with non-Linux mobile hardware (such as cameras or phones) with
Linux.
